SLIDER STATION
Sliders, fries,
shakes, good company and chilled vibes. All of these are elements that make up
a good hang out spot. Slider station is well known amongst us teens, so it is
only appropriate for us to provide you with s top notch review. Slider station
is a franchise located all around the Middle East in countries including
Kuwait, Oman, UAE, and Bahrain. Needless to say, we were stoked about reviewing
it.
As soon as we entered
we were aroused by the smell of freshly baked, charred flatbreads and the
smiling faces of workers welcoming us and escorting us to our table. This
obviously was a good first impression and we were basically sold at that
moment. However, we pushed those factors aside and waited for the food to
arrive to truly develop a non-biased view of the restaurant. The space was
decorated using industrial elements and dark tones, it was lit using dull
lighting which truthfully was kind of bothersome but hey, I could see my food
and that’s all that matters.
The service was
impeccable as there was always someone there catering our needs. We scanned the
menu already knowing what the essentials are from word of mouth literally
everywhere, Delta force and Dangerous sliders.
We ordered a variety of items ranging from, rock shrimps and delta force
to flatbreads and sliders; no one could hold us back then… Yes we kind of did
overdo it but that’s beside the point…
The food arrived
within good timing and I cannot describe to you how exultant I felt watching
the food being presented to us. The presentation was immaculate! Everything was
presented so beautifully and professionally which really did make it so
inviting to eat. And let me tell you, the food did not disappoint. For starters
we order the Rock shrimps, the commando fries and delta force. I loved how
there were multiple flavors in each dish all complementing one another;
everything was so full of life. The rock shrimps had one odd component but for
some reason it kind of worked
Moving onto main
course, we ordered two different types of flat breads: the normal margarita and
another one which was topped with onions, mushrooms and pesto sauce all of
which were delightful. The thin crispy dough topped with fresh ingredients and
the dough to sauce to toppings ratio was marvelous, and now for the most
important part of the blog; the sliders. We ordered a range of them including
the wagyu truffle, chicken classic, dangerous and fire bird sliders. All of
which were insanely pleasant. The only downturn to them was that in both the
wagyu truffle and the fire bird sliders we found that onions were a bit over
powering but all other components were more than enjoyable. The beef in the
wagyu truffle sliders were unbelievably succulent and juicy; the hint of
truffle made it all the more pleasant. The chicken sliders had a perfect crispy
batter coating the tender chicken contrasting with it were perfectly soft buns
creating more interest to the dish.
Since the sliders are small in size you are able to order more than one
type which is always a good thing.
After finishing our
sliders we got asked if we wanted desert and how could we decline the offer?!
There is always, always room for desert. After deep discussion we
decided on getting the milk cake, and boy were we in for a treat! The cake was
smothered in this rich chocolate sauce adding onto the bold, dark flavors
within the cake itself. The cake was quite dense and has such strong rich
flavors , appealing to my chocolate lover self. There was a hint of coffee in
it too, I do not typically like the taste of coffee but it really worked with
the flavors in this desert. This desert is quite heavy so please share it with
a couple of people, you have been warned.
Overall, I really
enjoyed this experience and I would definitely recommend it to anyone thinking
of trying it out, it is kind of pricey but certainly worth it. I would without
a doubt come back and until then, I will just scroll through their Instagram
fantasizing about the next time someone takes me here.
