Today we visited  D'Arcy's Kitchen, a cottage style restaurant/ café.

Today we ordered a delicious combination of deserts between four people.

 Our first order was a sticky toffee pudding, a date cake with caramel syrup, with ice cream on the side (OMR 1.7).

I ordered this cake, and I would give it a 9/10. I loved the taste,  texture and warmth of the pastry.
Our second order was a strawberry smoothie; a mouth-watering drink to satisfy your thirst and enjoy (OMR 2). A rating of 9/10 for it's sweetness and texture.

We also ordered a chocolate milkshake, a divine tasting drink (OM 2). This was also given a 9/10 for the same purpose the strawberry smoothie had: flavour and texture. This had a mix of Oreo and Kit kat with some coco powder and ice cream. This is definitely a drink to try.

The final thing that was ordered was the molten lava cake (OMR 1.8).


This was heaven on earth, a simmering chocolate lava cake with caramel and chocolate syrup and gorgeous vanilla ice cream with chocolate on top. A well deserved 9.5/10.


Overall, we had a very pleasant experience with this restaurant/cafe. Here are the overall ratings:
